To achieve its strategic objectives, Cubic-C Lab develops activities across the following general lines of action

Development, optimisation and validation of carbon capture technologies applicable to energy systems, industrial processes, decentralised solutions and bioenergy applications.

Investigation of carbon conversion pathways for the production of sustainable fuels, energy carriers, advanced materials, and high-value-added products.

Development of integrated thermodynamic, energy, techno-economic, and environmental assessments, including life cycle assessment and feasibility studies and energy integration for circular carbon value chains.

Analysis of regulatory frameworks and the dynamics of regulated and voluntary carbon markets, supporting the quantification, certification and valorisation of emission reductions and carbon removals.

Development of modelling, simulation, optimisation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence tools for low-carbon systems, supporting technology development, system planning and decision-making.

Promotion of scientific and technological knowledge transfer to different economic sectors, public entities, and stakeholders involved in energy transition, climate policy, and carbon management.
